As a retired Federal Probation Officer, I’ve supervised lots of bank robbers over the course of my career. Most of the time, they’re strung out on something or mentally ill. They do it with the expectation of being caught. They tend to have very high recidivism.

I once had a touring drummer for Lynard Skynard band who turned into a bank robber. His was drugs of course.

See this is what I said

The FBI actually found these people

Because its one of the only things they actually do by the book

Murders all over the place? Who cares.

There's a good one called the 1997 North Hollywood, CA bank robbery you should check out. It's worth the time if you're into bank robberies.

Agreed that the FBI does a good job on these cases. Granted, banks have good security measures that are designed to catch the robber. They usually explode a dye pack and get painted blue.

One whoever didn’t like my spelling of lynyrd skynrd. Ha Ha. I always hated that style of music.

In GTA, yep.

Still remember my bank robbing days on there. Use to beat the teller to death with a giant dildo after taking the money. But then again I think I beat everyone to death on there with the giant pink dildo, thugs, bike gangs, working girls, erreybody. Good times.

Anyone ever robbed a bank on here? by SuperOcean

I worked with one. Remember the day two feds in suits walked down the middle of building

I had a similar experience except it was when I was in the Navy in sub school stationed in Groton. I remember going to breakfast with one of my classmates. We got back to the barracks and the MPs showed up and took him away. It turns out he was involved in a bank robbery. Never had any contact with him again and not sure how things turned out but I do wonder from time to time.

Its one of a couple crimes the FBI will actually faithfully attempt to get correct.

They actually did get it correct. The fox robbed the henhouse while disguised as the guards.
They pulled off the largest bank robbery in the history of the USA in Beverly Hills. The perpetrators are known, the crime is documented, and yet there have been no arrests and no charges filed.
That is an institution that needs to be shut down for good.

Me and some of my boys used to rob banks back in the old days. We went by "Golden Joe and the Suggins Gang". We used to shoot our names into a wall after the heist.

Me and my friends went on a bank robbing spree in the LA area in the early 90s. We wore masks of ex presidents and we usually didn't get greedy in and out in 90 seconds mainly to fund our adrenaline junky lifestyle. Then it got crazy when we found out an FBI agent named Johnny Utah tried to infiltrate our group. So we threatened to kill his girlfriend if he didn't come on a bank robbery with us and he was like "I AM AN FBI AGENT" and being a real bitch about it. Well that heist went wrong and my bro got shot. I escaped and the last time I seen him was at Bells Beach Australia where I went out to sea to ride a giant wave for the 50 year storm. Good times.
