Once in a blue moon, I’ll have a few days of super vivid nightmares of any sort that are absolutely mind fricks

I had one last night where I dreamt my fingers rotted from the the inside out. And it felt like just hours of starting in horror at the hollow tubes and bones visible through the holes in my fingers. Took me like an hour to actually just let it go because it was so uncomfortable.

That's because of your rotten fingers.

I have night terrors and wake up sweaty, groggy, confused and screaming/punching anytime I fall asleep on my back. I rarely remember what it was though.

My wife will wake me up if she seems me asleep on my back.

I use to have terrible vivid stress dreams.

A delta 8 gummy before bed keeps me from dreaming, and I've been sleeping like a baby since I started.

I was a raging alcoholic and cocaine addict for over a decade. Been sober almost two years now. At least once a month I'll have a dream and it's me getting fricked up. The entire next day I'll have bad anxiety and regret as if I'd actually had done it. It frickin sucks.

Never have them myself, but my wife says she had vivid nightmares when she was trying to quit smoking and taking Chantix. That is one of the potential side effects of that drug.

She'd wake up in a jolt from some of them, then have a hard time getting back to sleep thinking she'd just do it again.

Yes, and only those who have had it happen will know what I am talking about.

When the "blackness" comes for you.

You will go sleepless until you all but collapse, because you know. When you sleep...it is coming for you.

Some here will know what I speak of.

I have a recurring dream about being at a swap fest, and I don't know anybody, not even my wife. It's not a nightmare, but it's really f'ed up. I told my wife, she thinks it's hysterical.

Went through several rounds of chemo in the last 18 months and yeah - that stuff will F up your sleep. I woke dozens of times screaming in terror, never could remember why. A few weeks after the last round it stopped and I couldn't be more thankful. I thought I was about to have a heart attack one night because I was sweating so much and my pulse rate was sky high - like 160's.

I fricking love Nightmares. I was really big into trying lucid dreams in high school and college. It never completely worked so that I can take over the dream, but generally I know it is a dream so I can just sit back and go through it. It's kind of like a roller coaster where you know what's happening but you're just along for the ride.
