I used to ride skateboards a lot as a kid/young teen. I got on one a few years ago thinking it would be like riding a bike for me. It nearly resulted in a hospital visit after about 2 minutes

A bunch of guys I knew went and one landed on a spring or something hard and split the bottom of his foot open. The recovery wasn’t horrible but they said there was blood everywhere and he had to get a few stitches to help close it up.
