Never “in love” or would consider marriage, but was in lust for four of my cousins (and even more so with their mother)

She was my fourth cousin, briefly dated in high school but nothing serious so the family never knew. Found out we were cousins the next year.

I think im going to take a run at it.
You dont have those dreams for no reason.

Unless a higher power or councinsness is playing a trick on me.

Do you think she is secrectly having the dream with me at the same time and that is what makes it soo hot?

Met a girl on Match from Covington, I’m in BR. She was raised in California but moved to Covington to take care of her mother. We were together about two months and she introduced me to her mother. Over dinner her mother connected the dots and realized we were cousins albeit 3rd or 4th. My father is from the north shore

That pretty much ended it as she couldn’t handle it. Last I heard she moved back to California. Damn shame, she was a smoke show and way out of my league

True story

My folks are 16th cousins twice removed by marriage

I have a big Family

Not even possible. They'd have a 300 yr age difference.

What most people think is a 2nd cousin is a first cousin once removed and 3rd is actually a first cousin twice removed

Bobby Hebert got married and went off with his bride on a honeymoon. He returned home without her, and his father asked why. Bobby said, "Turned out she was a virgin, and if she's not good enough for her own family then she is not good enough for ours."

At least she kept it in the family.

No. But I do know a couple who were step brother and sister that got married and have kids. Honestly it's too weird for me but everyone seems to not have a problem with it.

My wife's aunt and uncle's parents married. So reverse incest through marriage? The aunt and uncle divorced and it put some stress on the parent's marriage but they made it.

Interesting (at least to me) piece of trivia, aka “fun fact”.. if any oldheads like me remember the band Boston then you’ll remember their epic tune More Than A Feeling, which was released almost 50 years ago now.. there is a line in the song where the iconic Brad Delp sings :

“ 'Til I see Marianne walk away
I see my Marianne walkin' away”

.. turns out, the Marianne in the song is Delp’s first cousin who he had a crush on when he was growing up.. that’s a true story .

Postscript to the story is that Delp saw his cousin Marianne many years later at a family reunion and she was pissed at him- not for revealing that the song was about his cousin, but because he had said in an interview that she was his OLDER cousin …… no link but the story’s easy to find on the google machine .

well, there's a bit of truth in this, but you've got most of the details wrong...tom scholz wrote the song, and used the name marianne because it fit well, and because when he was 8 he had a crush on his cousin, whose name was marianne...she WAS much older than him...but the song wasn't about her, he just used the name...

eta: this thread is really creepy...

Youre right, i mixed up Delp with Scholz.. but to say ‘I got most of the details wrong’ is a stretch.. as i said, when he was growing up (8) he had a crush on his older cousin Marianne .. as to whether the song is ‘about her’ or not, that’s purely subjective.. save ur semantics for someone else, pal .
