I live in Ohio and i have never heard of this...even as a camp fire story like you are telling.

Lived near there for a while and have been running up to the spot where the road closed signs are. Anytime Ive been there has always been a cop sitting there saying no trespassing. It’s definitely not haunted or anything just an old town from the 1800s that dissolved and now the CVNP owns the land.

Update November 2016: All abandoned houses, etc. were torn down in the summer of 2016 and most of “Helltown” is now part of the national park nearby. There’s nothing to see here anymore.

The hellish aura of the area only continued to grow when the NPS acquired Krejci Dump in 1985. Rangers visiting the site became ill and covered in rashes. It was soon discovered the dump was highly polluted with toxic chemicals improperly disposed of. The dump became a Superfund site and as of 2015 the NPS is wrapping up restoration of the area.

So, that was mockumentary you were watching. There were no young people with Roman candles. The story of the evacuation is true, but not much else.

I've been to Boston, Louisiana. Idk about deer headed humans, but we have plenty of deer there. Although, now that I think of it....there are a few women that can pass as hogs.

The area's national park containing a Superfund site. That is a 10/10 on the Cleveland scale.
