There's an increased risk of lung irritation and ovarian cancer in women, so no.
Im doubting ovarian cancer, especially by the Huff Post. Even MDs occasionally go down rabbit holes...see Stony Brook's Dr. Szema. Not enough accepted peer-reviewed data out there to support carcinogenicity or determine reproductive risk. Confirmed lung irritant and can cause pneumoconiosis.

WebMD cites researcher John Wysner who says the presence of Asbestos in Talc prior to the 70's may be responsible for a slight increase in Ovarian Cancer. Per Whysner, while the increased risk is small: "The risk for ovarian cancer was highest among women who used talc and had not undergone surgical sterilization." He cites many studies in which the migration of particles through the fallopian tubes has been demonstrated. Both talc and asbestos have been found in human ovarian tissue. Cancer.org says these findings are miniscule and mixed. WebMD
Hopefully, the quality assurance for talc powder manufacturers is better than the folks who gave us Chinese drywall.
All said, Cornstarch may be a better choice.

Not everyday, but especially when I know I'll be outside a lot.
Gameday tailgating, I'll throw some on the butthole to help with da mudbutt.

I vastly prefer ball sweat to powder.
Doesn't take but a second to rectify either problem.
"slap it with a dishrag" works both ways
