I use Spectracide Triazicide quarterly. Spray or spread from your house (include any flower beds) outward to your property line. This has worked for me. No mounds this year after fighting them forever.

The rain raises the water table in the soil so they have to build up to stay dry. These biblical rains we’ve been having the last few weeks make it to where even the highest and driest places are saturated.
