Lanny passed a few years ago. Health deteriorated apparently after falling out of a deer stand. June, on the other hand, faded into the shadows after leaving television and unlike other on-air personalities, never tried to get back in the public’s eye. June and Judy are/were (?) complicated in that in person they were nothing like people assumed. I liked both.

Noe’s still have a lot of $$ from oil and gas and questionable leases from Governor Noe and Allen.

Look up Win or Lose Corporation, State Lease 340. The amount of money paid, and still being paid is staggering. Total corruption that the Long and Noe families still benefit from.

Judy Waggoner looked the exact same for 30 years. I saw she was doing ads for a plastic surgeon a few years ago and it all started making sense.

Speaking of Mr Wonder, he was sentenced to five years in 2018 so he should be out by now if somebody didn't shank him. The last Google reference is his sentencing.

I was a news reporter there from 1980 to 82. My wife was the weekend anchor for a couple of years.

Got a break to go to Orlando in 1983 and never looked back

Interesting place to work at the time. Retired four years ago

Fun thread.

Phillip Palmer (sportscaster) has been doing news in Los Angeles for 25 years

Ron Sanner (sportscaster) always seemed like a cool dude. Looks like he’s been out of the news biz for a long time

Who was the short brownish-red headed guy in the 90s with a beard that filled in for Neil Shaw? He had a quiet soothing voice.

went to church with him and his younger brother Keith for a decade.

Had no idea about the LA gig until I was there one time and I heard his voice from the other room.

One of the more surreal moments in my life.

Jennifer James was a classmate of mine and she had a few words to say about Judy who apparently had snared her dad in her web of destruction.

I was on Mr. Wonder. I had to build a working electrical circuit. Did not have sex with him.

A guy named Larry Ryhmes did weather sometimes, not sure if that's who you are thinking about.
