We don't do any Christmas decorations until after Thanksgiving. I love Christmas but I don't love it to the point where I want to celebrate it for 2-3 months.

That's really a pretty good idea.

I'm pretty sure I'm going to put mine up during Advent but turn them on Christmas Eve and keep them on during the entire Christmas celebration through Epiphany.

Primarily on the grounds that Advent (edit) is a penitential season and not a Feast. (Except for the 3rd Sunday)

Lights are not necessary. A wreath on the front door...perhaps single candles in windows...should be deployed on December 15th.

Dear God why would you put up Christmas lights in October? Or even November?

If you were my neighbor I'd go to Walmart and buy a BB gun and at least 10000 BBs, then sit outside and shoot at your house until I hit every single bulb

I fought all year to get our HOA to ban the inflatable blow up dolls in yards for holidays so looking forward to this year.

You’re allowed one, clean row of white lights across your roof.

Or someone that cares about the home values in my neighborhood more than I care about your undisciplined kid’s bad taste in decorations.
