Anyone else having problems with ATT Uverse?

Our TV and Internet have been off since mid morning, and we have called their helpline a couple of times, but can’t get past their computer. Their computer tells us they are having network difficulties.

Lightning struck a facility in DFW and started a fire. Service has been down since this morning. Has nothing to do with your theory.

Fire at one of their main distribution stations in DFW. Have no idea where you are located since you didn’t say.

Yep. I'm assuming my internet is out which means no tv which means if I have no tv or internet so I'm going to the bar.

My U-verse service has been in a perpetual state of problems since I got it back in 2014.

I’ve had UVerse for 3+ years. Never any issues. They can’t really help it if lightning strikes and starts a fire.

Do you live in BR? I think it has a lot to do with the quality of the lines that are run both outside and inside your house. They tend to oversell what they can really offer.

I think quality of cable service would be the least of my complains if I lived in BR.

I had 4 tv's on uverse! Kept having problems. Every time turn them on, had to reset the box. Called a couple of times, they fixed. They sent the guy out couple of times, he fixed.
Got tired of the crap, only 1 tv works, watch tv on Saturdays. Get all my news from here and off my phone.
When this contract is up, I'm done with cable!

How much would it cost to have a little redundancy in their systems?
Do like the power company does when you live in a big city and flip over to a different circuit.

When there's a fire it kind of kills the redundency. You can't just make internet anywhere
