Satueday night I opened my front door to take the trash out and there was this big creepy brown spider staring at me. I stepped over it and went about my business. The next morning the same fricker was there when I opened the door and ran inside my house, I killed it of course and went about my day. Later on I find two more of them in my bathroom. They were exactly like the first one, kind of large, brown with thick legs.

The next day I found another one in my living room, only this one had a fricking egg sack attached to it so I carefully scooped it with a cup and threw it in my neighbors yard. Since then I’ve found at least one a day, and so far today I’ve found two.

Like I said, they are all the exact same kind of spider, I’m guessinf there wolf spiders but I’m not really sure.

Has anyone else, particularly in mandeville, had an influx of these creepy frickers lately? Should I call an exterminator?

I understand that. But the problem is I’ve never had a problem with insects here except for the occasional water roach, and now I’ve found like ten of the same exact spiders in a week

I don’t see a problem here. Sounds like you hit the jackpot.

Congrats on the insex

Just that time of year. They and their friends and cousins are getting frisky. Spider fans and other sorted experts will tell you to refrain from killing wolf spiders bc they seek and destroy other spiders including poisonous varieties....but I find it difficult to let one of those big mamas with egg sack or babies attached to go on its merry way.

Seen (and Smashed) a lot of them in my house in the last few weeks also. I’ve sprayed a solution of Peppermint oil, vinegar, and water around all the door frames. Seems to be working.

What the frick? Why wouldn't you just kill it?

If you're like me your weather stripping needs a good once over.

I’m a little further north of you but I’m glad I’m not the only one. Killed 2 wolf spiders in the house and one outside along with a black widow in my tennis shoes two days ago. Bug man says the spray does nothing for spiders. Wtf is that about?

Suspend SC is the product you want. It dries and leaves microscopic pyramoidal crystals (. Little pyramids ). The spider picks up the crystals on his legs and eats them when he grooms himself. A little bit more effective than Talstar. The SC means that it can be used in damp places.
