Where do you work that allows you to take 3+ months off at a time?

I’ll have to look into that. I also liked some Star Wars games like Battlefront. But it’s been a very long time since I really played video games. My last gaming system was a PS2. I played some on the PS3 with our son when he was little. And I used to play WoT on my laptop some. But it’s been years since I played any video games.

That’ll be 20 years from now. By then I’m sure the technology will be freakin mind blowing.

Go look and see what mods are doing to games like Cyberpunk right now on YouTube and this is all before AI enhancements hit

Your wife won't allow it.

That's the truth. My wife still works, but I quit 6 years ago. In 6 years, I've completed 2 video games, usually when it's cold as heck or raining for a week straight.

She doesn't say "don't play video games per se, but when she's home, I do stuff with her and not play video games. And during the day I'm busy outside working on the farm, fishing at the lake or doing woodworking.

I have about 6 games purchased, but never even downloaded. Witcher 3, Cyberpunk, Elden Ring, Fallout 4,and Kingdom Come 1 & 2 have been purchased for months to several years and i haven't ever even downloaded them.

ETA--When you work, you a little "decompression" time whether it's video games or whatever. You don't get decompression time when you don't have a job but are busy all day.

I didn’t say I was taking it all at once but I do have a plan to leave this job at some point and they’ll pay me all that when I leave if I don’t transfer to another agency. Actually though, I think the way my leave structure is set up it is technically all annual leave and I can take it whenever I want.

Only video games I play are slot machines, so the only commercials that give me a boner are for casinos talking about how loose and easy their slots are.

Running the wanted level up to 5-6 stars and seeing how long you can evade the cops is fun

If my Hood Warfare 2 thread was good enough to be moved to the gaming board, this thread damn sure is, too.

But none of the newer games really appeal to me. I’m thinking, if I do get back into gaming, I’ll probably play either WoT or War Thunder on PC

There's a video game for PC called Sprocket; it should be right up the alley of an old tank guy.

Time to stop playing video games Peter Pan.

This is why so many males are lonely and single and childless today.
