Lord shite no. Do something about that.

Gorge on protein, cut sweets, eat good fats. Spend extra money finding quality stuff you will actually eat. Berries and yogurt and dark chocolate. You can modify your tastes and naturally limit caloric intake without guilt or constant failure.

I actually don’t….no guilt from eating fast food at all. I do however, feel a little guilty when I notice myself putting on some weight, because I know I have been eating too much crap. I have never been one to worry about a problem, unless I actually have that problem.

I believe in taking care of myself and a balanced diet and rigorous exercise routine. In the morning if my face is a little puffy I'll put on an ice pack while doing stomach crunches. I can do 1000 now. After I remove the ice pack I use a deep pore cleanser lotion. In the shower I use a water activated gel cleanser, then a honey almond body scrub, and on the face an exfoliating gel scrub. Then I apply an herb-mint facial mask which I leave on for 10 minutes while I prepare the rest of my routine. I always use an after shave lotion with little or no alcohol, because alcohol dries your face out and makes you look older. Then moisturizer, then an anti-aging eye balm followed by a final moisturizing protective lotion.

I never feel guilt after eating, regardless of what it is. I sometimes feel like shite, but that’s an entirely separate issue.

If you feel actual guilt, you might want to consider counseling. Genuinely and with no judgment. You likely have some unhealthy food association issues that it would be good to work through with someone before it turns into a larger issue.

Guilt from eating something delicious? No.

Guilt from eating something disappointing? Yes.

Guilt from eating too much or spending money? Absolutely.

If it was delicious, filling (but not too filling), and cheap/free, there’s no guilt.

This is the type of thread where we learn that every OTer eats a perfect diet and never touches fast food.

Eating fried chicken makes me feel guilty but that’s because it looks like I’m shitting through an oil skimmer after.

I get this. I used the Noom app for a time to help drop some COVID weight. It focuses a lot on the psychology of eating.

There’s a lot of unpack but maybe look into some articles on mindful eating.

I still have some moments of guilt after eating crap good or too much. But I’m better at limiting those times now.

What a puff!
I eat decent most days. Lots of protein and water. I still take in sugars and carbs. But, I also lift hard five days a week. I stay in shape for 47 years old. I never feel guilty after eating anything. That is as non alpha as you can get!
