Im going to major and graduate from LSU or BRCC( engineering)

Its just that college hasn't been what I thought it would be . Its supposed to be the best time of tour life and I fricked it up . My grades were horrendous( its like my GPA came from a horror movie), and I didn't even party. I aint a fratstar. I don't bang OT 5s on the regular. But this was a wake up call

This is half of why you think college sucks. It will be the time of your life, but you have to put forth the effort to make the grades in order to make it last. Don't kill yourself, learn to party, just do it in moderation. Make friends, if you need to join a fraternity to do that then so bit it. Just reach down in your pants, grab your balls to remind yourself they are still there, get off your arse, and start making the changes you want to see in your life right the frick now! Changes don't happen without you making them

Alabama has Freshman Forgiveness. If you get there and flunk out the first semester you can retake everything the next semester and if you pass then they treat it like the first one never happened. Apparently lots of kids get out of their parents house and go all katty-whompus and shite and flunk out.

You're still really young. You can go to BRCC for a couple of semesters to pick your GPA up, then get back into LSU to finish college. But you have to get motivated and get off of your arse and work hard for your grades, and be willing to sacrifice.
If you don't think you're motivated to go through school right now and you just need to make a drastic change to shake things up, then maybe a couple of years doing something abroad like you are thinking will do you some good and give you some perspective.
What you're feeling is a "do or die" kind of feeling. You need to figure something out; either go abroad or dedicate yourself to school and work. If I was in your shoes, I'd pick my sad arse up off of the ground and get enrolled in BRCC, pick up my grades, and get back into LSU asap.

Yep, failure isn't crap until you probably get in your 40's, then it starts to bite a bit. You could spend you're whole 20's fricking up and still make out ok.
I know lots of folks who didn't get a big boy job and settle down til they were nearly 30, they've done fine.
