Ok, here are some
Total cholesterol (-8.1%), LDL-C (-9.2%), and TG (-38.7%) were all significantly reduced over time
Body weight was reduced by 8.0% from baseline to 12 wk (P < 0.001) (Table 1). Abdominal fat was also reduced over time by 19.6% (P < 0.001). Total cholesterol (-8.1%), LDL-C (-9.2%), and TG (-38.7%) were all significantly reduced over time, and HDL-C (+12.0%) was significantly increased (Table 1). Subjects who had LDL pattern B decreased from 55% at baseline to 45% after the intervention. Plasma apo B concentrations decreased 5.5% (P < 0.05) after 12 wk.
Study number 2
Dietary cholesterol intake increased >100% (332–741 mg/d) when subjects switched to the ketogenic diet, which would be predicted to result in significant increases in total cholesterol and LDL cholesterol, although these were not significantly elevated after 6 wk of the ketogenic diet.
-switching to a fat-rich diet (46% vs. 24% of total energy) was shown to increase mean particle diameter and large LDL-1 mass and decrease small dense LDL-III cholesterol (28), while reductions in dietary fat have the opposite effect
The mean serum cholesterol level rose (from 159 to 208 mg/dL) during the EKD, while triglycerides fell from 107 to 79 mg/dL
Fasting TG were significantly reduced after the intervention diet (-55%).
The level of total cholesterol, LDL cholesterol, triglycerides and blood glucose level decreased significantly (P < 0.0001), whereas HDL cholesterol increased significantly (P < 0.0001) after the treatment in both groups.
-showed decreases in total triglycerides (P<.001), very low-density lipoprotein (VLDL) triglycerides (P<.001), VLDL size (P<.001), large VLDL concentration (P<.001), and medium VLDL concentration (P<.001).

Many things discussed here. Supplemental ketone discussion may interest folks here

If you liked my episode with Dom D’Agostino, Ph.D., you might love this one.
Patrick Arnold, widely considered “the father of prohormones,” is an organic chemist known for introducing androstenedione (remember Mark McGwire?), 1-Androstenediol (marketed as “1-AD”), and methylhexanamine into the dietary supplement market.
He also created the designer steroid tetrahydrogestrinone, best known as THG and “the clear.” THG, along with two other anabolic steroids that Patrick manufactured (best known: norboletone), were not banned at the time of their creation. They were hard-to-detect drugs at the heart of the BALCO professional sports doping scandal, which thrust Barry Bonds and others into the spotlight. BALCO distributed these worldwide to world-class athletes in a wide variety of sports, ranging from track and field to professional baseball and football.
Recently, Patrick has been innovating in the legal world of ketone supplementation, including breakthroughs in performance and taste with products like KetoForce and KetoCaNa, which were highlighted during my podcast with Dominic D’Agostino, Ph.D.

Peter Attia are heros of mine
I met Attia once at a preventative medicine conference. Really, really great guy. It wasn't until afterward that some folks there were telling me about his TED talks and I was blown away.

what's the word on these? The Ketogains community seems to be talking them up, but I'd always heard that exogenous ketones were a waste of money. I'm nervous the mods in that subreddit and facebook group are pimping that product for sales and not for efficacy.

Very cool. I'd love to get 5 minutes of his time. I read today, sadly, that he left NUSI do persue other interest. It is in his blog at eatingacademy under Jet Fuel.

he is a hero of mine. and just to be clear every steroid he created was legal at the time. frick the government for the bullshite they pulled against him.

But 16 servings for $67.50... $79 after shipping. That's $5 a serving.

well he doesn't create cheap products either. See he brings in the raw material from china and performs the chemical reactions himself unlike all other companies who are just importing cheap chinease powder.
