Loops are meant to help traffic. If you notice almost all south Alabama cities have a small loop for that purpose. Dothan decided to build a chain restaurant on every inch of their loop so it’s crawling with traffic. Planned well but leadership after that messed up.

Everything they offer. Most people go to Dothan because they have things like a hospital, a shopping mall, a boat dealership, a cracker barrel, a water park. Just having those things is impressive to them. It's a rural mecca.

This is all true. It's the nearest shopping location for all those North Florida rednecks.
