I'm looking at 2 places that prep you for the CWI. Atlas, and Real Education Services. I was just wondering if anyone has experience with these 2, are any other prep courses. Thanks

I can't help answer your question, but I appreciate your profile's brevity.

Also a little shocked welder69 was still an available username until 2018.

I’m not one, but have known a few in my career. If you don’t mind traveling some, it can be a very lucrative job

Mr Ducote, I would highly recommend that with that name that you avoid posting on the Aggie Board here.

They would assume your name meant something....Aggie-like.

Lol.
If you cannot do anything of skill (manufacturing, engineering, contracts etc.), move to Quality Assurance.

Have the Fab yards started back up?

Seems like the prospects would be few and far between for the foreseeable future....... Just my opinion.

ETA: does this certification cover different types of NDT?

HR and/or Safety may also be a career path for those folks...

For those who say if you can't do shite you go into inspection, I know were joking but, an inspector on the pipeline make shite tons of money and I want a slice of that cheddar for myself lol.

I'd imagine the worst part of that job is the NRC. They're a real bunch of losers. You'll be begging for the mere hassle of an IRS audit after a few months dealing with those pederasts.
