I just finished the first round of interviews for the sales management trainee position. Anybody done this? Advice?
eta: seems like this job may work well for experience/training opportunities. I have a shadow scheduled sometime soon
also, one of the interview questions was "sell me something"

No. But we have a partnership. It is a pretty easy job. A bit stressful. I know they target college grads. Pay is meh. I think 45ish.

They recruit recent college grads pretty hard. I've heard its long hours and not amazing pay, pretty stressful.

Just wait until you are out washing cars wearing a shirt and tie.

My friend did
You have to do everything from working with customers and washing and vacuuming the cars.
The worst part is dealing with the customers when it's time to pay and insurance is involved.

I worked for one for a few years as my first job out of school. Left as an assistant manager. Really is a sink or swim type training. Long hours, washing cars in suits sucks. You'll need new dress shoes every few months or so. Low pay. When I started it was like 33k but I am sure it has gone up by now. With that being said, I learned a lot about business quickly. Lot of good drugs/pimp/stolen car stories to tell my friends as well. Just work hard and you'll be fine.

Be prepared to wash cars and run the entire branch by yourself
You won't make it a career, but it will look good on a resume

Who cares about pay. Work there and bust your butt. Network, network, network. It’s all about gathering experience and sharpening your people skills.

^What he said. Recruiters LOVE people that worked at Enterprise. They know how mentally grueling it is.
