Had one in 1st grade and was probably from Eckerd's. This was probably 1987

I had that book bag in elementary school in the late 70s. Mine came from the Army surplus store downtown.

I used one. It lasted quite a while. Got it from an army surplus store.

Jansport leather bottoms were the best. I had to switch to a gay arse see through bookbag because a kid shot a teacher at my school my freshman year.

Only person i knew with one had never dated.he finally dated one woman and married her. He has a phd now. Teaches history in Milwaukee campus of Wisconsin.
Only guy i knew who kept 420 like people do good pipe tobacco. Had various little tins of different kinds. Generous. Funny little man, was the concensus.

Myself and a few others used our official Boy Scouts of America knapsacks for college in the early 70s.
