My wife said that when she was a server it was the one of worst days of the year. A bunch of couples that hate each other going to dinner because they felt they had to.

Always do VD the weekend before or after. Did it last weekend then for VD it’s always cook a nice meal at home and watch a movie. Been doing that for several years now.

Also never liked how all the nice restaurants have limited menus on VD and it’s mostly all the food their trying to get rid of at inflated prices. Enjoyed my full Eddy V’s menu last Sat night!

I never want to do anything for Valentines day. Restaurants are slammed so service is slow and awful, flowers prices are jacked up. The whole day is stupid. I told my husband if he had to get me something, wait until the day after and everything is on sale.

Take her out on Mistress Day, Feb 13th. Less crowded, and more interesting people watching.

Itt:
Baws who say they don't celebrate Valentine's day as it is a stupid, overhyped "holiday" and they don't need a special day to show their wives they care.

Also itt:
Baws who will be saying in exactly 1 month, "steak and BJ day is this weekend men, get ready!"

I won the Valentines day lottery this year.... My daughter has a volleyball tournament in Mississippi the entire weekend. Now I don't have to deal with the normal Valentines bullshite. I did waste $100 on flowers though. But it was a small price to pay to avoid the crowds.

I just make Mrs51 a video for Valentines day and Anniversaries. It gets me laid and is cheaper than dinner.

I enjoy doing Valentine's Day with the wife. She doesn't care that much about it, so we each get each other a small gift and we have a nice dinner. Not much pomp and circumstance about it - just a nice Friday night (this year) out.

My wife has always wanted to stay in for Valentine's or do something the before or after the 14th. We have season tickets for LSU baseball, so it seems like every few years we get to spend Valentine's Day at the Box. A chick who loves baseball and hates Valentine's Day is a winner in my book...

Also, no pics.
