Big fans in my household. My son has the remote control bots and the arena. We battle often. Those toys are top notch. My favorite is Witch Doctor.

My favorite robot of all time was Son of Whyachi. When that robot was running on all cylinders, no bot could beat it.

We've been fans so long that we converted our VHF tapes to CDs just to have some of the old battles.
This year, I find Huge to have been totally unexpected and his size protects him.
Duck, OTH, according to his creators was designed to take out Tombstone. Duck is inside a solid block of Aluminum so there's no protective covering to peal off.
When Duck went flying so often the other night, he kept on attacking.

Mine as well. Those spinning hammers were lethal.
I remember last year when they brought SoW back and it lost to a vertical wheel spinning bot. I had a sad.

It’s crazy how far it has come, I was involved back in the late 90’s when it was just robot wars and then also battle bots in the 2000s. Back in the day it was just an arena with 5 feet of plexi glass.

I am. My oldest son used to build battle bots for fun but never got into competition with them. He and I used to watch every episode. Then he discovered girls and lost interest in robots.

If you love Farouk's introductions (and doesn't everyone), the official website for Battlebots has intros for the individual bots AND they update Farouk's intro for the bots after each telecast battle.
