Anybody here a fan of Battlebots on the Science Channel?

The technology, the strategy involved...I'm fascinated watching these robots destroy each other.
These things would be lethal employed against a human being.

Pretty cool to me. I’m a big fan of the designs as opposed to the death obstacles (fire/auger etc)

I really like it. I would prefer if they truly had robots that were autonomous. These are simply bad-arse 220 lb. RC vehicles. Faruq's intro's are great.
I liked it better when they had Samantha Ponder. Besides being gorgeous she did a great job as well.

Pretty sure Tombstone beat Bronco a few years ago. But he broke his blade in the process.

I was watching the other day when the little drone, Spitfire, was downed and then chewed up by the screws. I had to rewind and watch several times. The announcers were hilarious. "Nooo, Spitfire!!"

I think that's a different show...Robot Wars. It is supposed to start airing back to back with Battlebots in August.

My wife and I started watching it about 2 months ago. Love it! Never have seen the flying drones succeed at anything except getting torn up or just doing nothing. Love Tombstone.
