That’s a local ordinance just about everywhere, you can’t obstruct the sidewalk.

Yeah so the thugs can still choose to walk in the street obstructing traffic.

My first jury trial was involving someone arrested for possession of cocaine when the stop was initiated because my client was walking along the side of a small neighborhood street in which the sidewalk had become an overgrown gravel ages before.

The always, never, either/or false dichotomy imposed on everything on here is silly.

Don't block the sidewalk, a-hole.

That has absolutely nothing to do with you living near a campus and everything with your self-entitlement and laziness.

Problem seems less about sidewalks and more about walking around with cocaine.

I got one a few months back for parking in my own front yard. No sidewalk at all, grass meets pavement. Total horse shite

Reading comprehension is apparently not your strong suit, unless you’re under the impression that the guy was walking with a key of coke slung over his shoulder

Nothing poses me Imoff more then easement.

I can get a ticket for not cutting and maintaining cleanliness, but city can come dig it up, leave equipment and ticket me for parking boat and PRC trailer on it.

It’s not mine but it’s my responsibility? Sean’s like I spent have to mow it ave I should be able to let itv grow abd become a jungle like all city properties and easements not in someones yard since it’s not mine

For every ticket someone gets for this, there's 2000 Dodge Chargers that are cutting donuts on the interstate near Bluebonnet that are all getting away with it.

When I was president of our neighborhood's civic association (NOT homeowner's association) one of the most frequent complaints I had to address was people complaining about neighbors cars being parked on a regular basis, as in every night, on the front yards of rent houses.

There's a Baton Rouge city ordinance prohibiting that heathen behavior. And I learned from the police that they only issue tickets for that violation if they receive complaints about it from neighbors.

So thank your neighbors for ratting you out...

Not only can you not remove it, but you are also responsible for its upkeep. If it cracks and becomes dangerous you are responsible for fixing it.

It IS yours. That's why it's your responsibility.
