No, but I’m hourly and they’ve asked us not to get OT.
I typically work ~46 hours per week so it’s going to affect the paychecks a bit.
ETA: still very thankful to be employed and to work for a great company.

I am am still getting my normal pay for both jobs. One is teaching...I have always been the outcast on this board and on social media who say teachers get paid well (and get chastised), but none of them are saying that now. The security blanket and benefits cannot be overlooked. I am fortunate to be safe right now.

I work commission so yeah... it sucks

If you are still working then it would be bullshite.
If you work under a contract that states you will be paid x amount and work x amount and are not working that amount, then why should they not be able to reduce salary (unless you have a clause that explicitly states that they cannot reduce salary).
If you are an at will employee then the company should definitely be able to reduce salary.
Whatever you are paid is your employer buying your labor. If you are giving no labor, I see no reason why they should have to pay for something they bargained for and are not currently receiving.
It does suck, but that's just capitalism.

Salary base + commission?
When sales guys say they work strictly on commission I think it’s door to door sales or involved in some kind of pyramid scheme.

Same, except the change is permanent.
Thankful to have a job during this time, but it's massive cut in pay that won't be reinstated once this pandemic is over.
Can't imagine this is a good decision for them in the long run with its effects on morale and very high chance of people leaving once the market settles (in my particular industry)

Have they changed your comp plan or are you just making less money because of the times? Most sales reps are making less money and rightfully so because they are selling less product.
If you’re maintaining sales numbers and the company is changing the comp plan but expecting you to work the same hours for less pay the that’s pretty shitty.
I’m not cool with salary reduction without reduction in hours. If I’m salary making 80k and working 50 hrs a week and you cut me to 40k then you will get 25 hrs a week of work.

Use to be a draw plus then changed to straight
Commission... sales are down across the board as we can’t run our weekly visits and new meetings... I’ll be alright still working the phone and web...
Lot of projects on hold right now so when it finally opens up it’ll be balls to the wall

We will just run off more talent
