I’m trying to buy a new IPhone 7 or 8 straight out not monthly payments and they’re hard to find.
I’ve found 1000 refurbished ones but that makes me nervous, anybody go that route?

I’ve had an iPhone 5 and 6s off eBay
Still using the 6s
0 issues with either one and it’s been at least 2-3 years.

I've gone the ebay route with my last couple iphones. I didn't get refurbished but the prices were good either way.

I wouldn't use a new iPhone. Why on earth would anyone want a refurb of that crap? It's not 2008 anymore. Samsung phones are way more advanced than an iPhone.

If it has been refurbished by Apple, it’s practically brand new.
Refurb’d by anyone else and you should just consider it a used phone.

Apple has a refurb store.
If you buy one there, you will have some protection.
FWIW, I bought an MB Air from their Refurb store in 2011 and the damn thing still works well.
