You choose any particular kind of place when you're going solo? I've never gone and chilled at a bar alone, but my friends have been flaking the frick out lately and I'm starting to get a little stir crazy.

How old are you? Don't be so insecure.

Go and pretend like you're meeting a bunch of chicks.
Other chicks will pick up on the vibe you're throwing out and wanna bang.

Only go solo if it's a sports bar and there's something I wanna watch, like LSU football, Saints, etc.
You don't feel alone if there are other similar fans there.

I used to at times. I enjoyed it, and you always meet people. It's not like you stay alone.

Don't give him bad advice, baw. Tell him straight that he needs to stick to bars like the ones in Police Academy.

Yeah all the time. Clearly you've never traveled for work. Pull up a stool, have a beer, watch the TV and have a conversation with people.

I do it all the time at airport bars. Usually meet some cool people too.

I've done it numerous times, no big deal, but if the place is really crowded you will have to interact with people or else you'll be awkward

So you can't walk to your neighborhood bar and chill? Oh, most people here live in a place where they have to drive to do anything.

There's an Irish pub a block from my apartment that I will occasionally pop into and have a drink or two. Nothing wrong with that.

It is okay. Living somewhere that takes twenty minutes to go to Wal-Mart is on my list of where to live. Oh, and they might not sell alcohol on Sundays.. fricking kill me....

When I'm alone in public I pretend to talk on my celly so I won't look like a total loser with no friends.

There are a few places within walking distance of my neighborhood, but other than that I'd have to drive.

You just brought back some bad memories of trying to buy some bourbon in Alabama. At a Wal-Mart

Good. I can't understand why young people want to live anyplace that they have to drive to in order to have a good time.

I had a great experience going to a bar by myself a few months ago. I was able to talk a woman into coming home with me. She was really into some crazy stuff too. After she calmed down from taking it up every orifice she complained about how her boyfriend who posts as "Tom288" was so boring.
