decongestant in many cold medicines doesn't work

I've known that since they put the stuff that worked (pseudoephedrine) behind the counter and pretended like phenylephrine was a substitute. It took me two days to figure out it was shite in 2006? I get my ID scanned to buy some more pseudoephedrine, just in case, about every two months. But the meth problem has been solved, rite? Rite?

Of all the interactions in the World you have, the Indian coworker was the impetus for you to be sick for over a month?

And for my birthday in late November, my husband gave me his very unpleasant cold.
Somehow, I managed to add something onto its symptoms, and I am so tired of coughing and sleeping badly.
This has been a dark, wet, cold couple of months.

A few days less of symptoms (and severity) for flu is definitely worth it to me. But to each their own.

I got something the week of New years.. Dry cough that turned to major congestion.. Head all stuffed up then came the diarrhea and that lasted all week... Weak, tired, no appetite and shortness of breath.. Had no fever.. Never had these combinations of sickness ever... Thought it was Covid but took a test and it came back negative...

It's cold a flu season for a reason: lack of direct sunlight to produce vitamin D. I start supplementing vitamin D in Nov and go through Feb. I'm outside enough and the sun is high enough in the sky by the end of Feb where I don't have to worry about it anymore.

2 weeks of a cough and post nasal drip. A nasty sore throat for the first week until I gave in and wen to the doctor for steroids and an antibiotic. No fever. I went to the gym a couple times before I went to the doctor. My wife thought I had walking bronchitis but I was negative for that, strep, and the flu. I've finished both meds but am still congested and hacking up snot.

Can you take a covid and flu test? I know people who currently have it.

Yeah, there's a test that tests for Flu A, Flu B, and Covid.

Is that what you're talking about?

I never got this shite until a few weeks ago. Honestly, when I got sick I didn't even think of it as a possibility just because I been around people who had it and never caught it, I just never thought about it. And when I tested positive for it the week after Christmas, I was asked if I wanted the Covid meds I figured i'd be good.. A week and a half later I was still feeling awful. I went back to the doctor because I am a bitch when I am sick. I don't get sick often so I act like a bitch when I do.

I had an appointment at 4PM... this was two fridays ago. She order me an xray to make sure I didn't have pneumonia. Depending on my results she would either prescribe me an antibiotic or a steroid, but told me that my xray results not likely be ready until Monday so that I should go and get Sudafed to take in the meantime. The Sudafed helped, on Monday my xray came back clear so she prescribed e a steroid. She said just to help me get over things. The Steroid was one of those packs you take for 6 days. I felt like a completely different person. Two nights in a row I didn't sleep at all, but I had so much energy.

People say "Covid is just like the flu".. Maybe so, but in my experience it wasn't. Well, I only had the flu once, but I don't remember it being like Covid. All I wanted to do when I had Covid was sleep. I'd get up for a little bit, but I was struggling to stay up. I'd eat something, drink water then go back to bed. I was so god damn tired of being in bed, but I just wanted to sleep.

When you start to feel like you are going down next time go to your local IV fluid place. Theyre everywhere now.

Get whatever mixture they make for your immune system and sit back and enjoy.

I swear by these.

Good man. Push fluids constantly and alternate Acetaminophen & Ibuprofen for fever.

I've taken maybe 10 showers today. I can't stand cold sweats. Every time I wake up I head straight for the shower.
