Yes, to donate to shelters. All toiletries, as a matter of fact.

Yeah, I keep them right next to my rain water test tube samples.

I prefer to line them all up in the cabinet and look at them.

I used to take everything home (soap, shampoo, lotion, etc.). Our guest bathrooms are stocked for decades.

My buddy in college collected wet naps from various restaurants. It was a pretty impressive collection.

I have a duck shaped one from the Peabody in a blue soap dish so it looks like he's floating on a lake. Don't care if it's weird, makes me smile when I'm in the bathroom.

That's a good one. What condition is it in?

The best hotel soap is from the Renaissance hotels. Aveda rosemary mint is so choice.

Aveda is nice. I would put it above Paul Mitchell as far as hotel soap is concerned.

I've toured for years and have sprawling collection. My favorites are the higher-end hotel bars with the exfoliating scrubby bits.
And yes, it felt gay typing the word "exfoliating".

Don't feel gay. I've spent $50 on Jack Black Turbo Wash 33oz - that's fricking gay but you got to do what feels good in life.

I always bring them home.
I now have hundreds.
I've converted my triple garage to a scale model of Kursk and I use the soaps as model pieces representing German & Soviet armor.
It's a tankless job.

Because it is.

No. I buy soap.
I used to have a much bigger collection, but I ran out of soap and used it for a few weeks.

I only keep the free toiletries if I really like them.. then I use them at home.
