I think it's okay not to stop as long as you go through the intersection in reverse. That way you can see the sticker on the back of the sign.

Me, especially in my neighborhood. There are way too many. I see stop signs all the time that are placed in the most retarded spots. Why do I need to stop 3 times within a half mile while on the same road. The only people that need to stop are the ones intersecting that road. We don't all need to stop.

I believe the only time you'd run across this is on a private, non-funded road. In this case, any road signs are referred to as mickey mouse signs and have little to no legal jurisdiction.

Nope.
Never were. Just one day no signs and the next they were up.
Btw...they've been up for about 6 months now. There is one house on the road to the west of the sign.
