When people complain about a harsh ride on the highway I tell them, "You better get a hovercraft then because there isn't a vehicle available that can smooth out these Louisiana roads"

Of those the 4Runner is the only one to consider.

I'll admit that my 4Runner rides more roughly than my wife's CX-5, but they are two different platforms. And it's nothing that really bothers me.

new 4runners ride rougher than my 2010 4 door truck

roads are terrible, no doubt, but the 4runner certainly doesn't do much to mitigate the problem.

Depends on the truck I guess, my dads Ram 3/4ton Cummins 4door 4x4 rides a hell of a lot rougher

I've had a Jeep Grand Cherokee, Tahoe, and a 4Runner. The Jeep was by far the least reliable and had the most problems.

I've owned a Tacoma, 4Runner, and two Landcruisers. I've thought each was great. I would go with a 4Runner all day. Several friends own or have owned newer Tahoes. Several have had some significant electrical/computer issues.

I kinda want backwards and got a 1997 Toyota Landcruiser 80 series. It's got three rows of seats, about the same size as a newer 4Runner, but astronomically cheaper. Bulletproof motor. Runs like a champ. It's an actual SUV. It's my daily driver and I couldn't be happier.

What are you using it for. The Highlander is somehow more spacious on the inside

I'm looking at a 2012 4 Runner of Lafayette Craigslist.

Single owner, 33,000 miles.

Am I allowed to post the link for opinions?

I'm on my 2nd 4Runner. Lost first one in flood.

I like mine. I got the SR5 Premium package. It IS on a truck frame, so you know from the start that's what it is. You won't get crossover smooth ride. Mileage is anywhere from 20-23 MPG. That's mixed driving for me.

IF you like to go off-road it is my understanding that this vehicle excels in that category.

I got it for the ground clearance (flash flooding), quality, resale value, and styling (personal taste). It ain't cheap, but I believe you get what you pay for.

For another $10k you could get a brand new one just like that with Nav and leather.

If you have Denali money to spend on a SUV, why not look at a Land Cruiser?

It's a 4X2 (not sure if that is important to you)

Not a bad price (could likely get it for less since it's low optioned) as 4Runners are often in the top 5 in resale of any vehicle. Looks like the only options are sunroof and 3rd row seat. Being a 2012, it may still have a powertrain warranty depending on when it was put into service.

Its basically two helical fans mounted on top of the intake, they're driven by the fan belt and force a ton of air into the intake. By adding more fuel as well you get more power. Like $5-6k for the hardware.
