Wear a hat or something of your big ten school and walk around. You’ll probably be invited into a tailgate and/or some food and drink

If we weren't flying, I would definitely have Spotted Cow in tow.

Like others mentioned wear your school gear & walk around. Someone or everyone will give you some shite, then offer you something to eat/drink.

Early game, team sucks not a great time to experience Death Valley this season. The diehards that show up will probably prove me wrong & I'm good with that. Hope you enjoy yourself & come back!

I would reccommend walking around campus since it's all one big tailgate. You may have some luck getting invites in doing that. You can check out different spots: Parade Grounds/Memorial Tower/ LSU Law Center, Indian Mounds, Mike's Habitat/Victory Hil. People will be out there early.

That's what we always do, the mobile tailgate. A couple styrofoam coolers filled with beers and premixed drinks. Walk around and hang out in the fun areas you find, dump the coolers on the way in.

Already did it this year for Gamecocks / Wildcats in Columbia and Packers / Steelers in Pitt. Previous years we did it for Clemson / ND in Clemson. 90% of the time it's great every time.

I would warn you about how much alcohol is involved but since you are from Wisconsin it will probably be like a typical Wednesday morning for you.
Hope you have a good time.

Nothing to do with tailgating, but I just got a case of Spotted Cow, a Belgian Red and a Fat Squirrel delivered to me this week by a friend who went home to Wisconsin last week.

All three are very good and Moon Man (pale ale) and Staghorn (a seasonal Octoberfest beer) are also good.

Go just north of campus and understand the fatigue. Might be offered a blunt or robbed. want ever to forget it.

It's a shame you'll have to endure the junior high team from Fayetteville.

Have a great time, though! I've been to two games in BR and had a blast both times.
