Bring whatever you have tabbed/bookmarked properly. Time management is the hardest part

The structural you might need that much, but if you can get your hands on the schoolof PE’s notes, those would be all you need.

I'm bringing
Testmasters binder
HCM Vol. 1-3
Roadside design guide
Design of pedestrian facilities
Green book
MUTCD
Highway safety manual
Lindeburg CERM

The Lindeburg book and highway safety manual are probably the two most useless ones I'm bringing. I have them all tabbed just in case.

Took the same Civil/Struct PE exam 4-5 years ago. For the morning all you need is the CERM.
Afternoon:

Yeah, if you go to the NCEES page theres a list of references that could be called on. PE is open book.

Gotcha. Has anyone here taken the EE PE?

I know some guys taking the environmental and water resources tests. Have mercy on them.

I'm not far behind them

Fix your thread title. You're not an engineer until you pass that test.

shite, I don't even have a degree in my field and the engineering projects I'm responsible for (by myself) are mind fricks compared to these tests...and I say that based on this thread. References, pfft.

You aren't an engineer yet, son.

This is about the dumbest thing I suspected the OT would say about this thread.

Wrong. Finishing law school doesn't make you a lawyer; it gives you a degree. Same with engineering. You have an engineering degree, but you aren't an engineer by law.

Should I change the title to "Are any other Engineer Interns, duly certified by the State of Louisiana, bringing a small library..."?

Part II, theres much more leeway given to practicing unlicensed engineers than unlicensed attorneys. Google "Industrial Exemption" for further information.
