The Kennedy persona now seen is the product of over 50 YEARS of leftist media/academia rewriting of history. We’ve seen what 4 years of media bias will do; imagine 50 years.

Like most of the Kennedys, he was quite ugly yet somehow get rebranded as handsome. He was elected POTUS by a very narrow margin despite what is now known to be widespread union corruption affecting the election.

So, like (potentially) Joe Biden, yet another Democrat fake arse President.

No way. When I was a young man I clearly remember a very bitter and trashy ole miss fan telling me they won three national titles.

I was in the 9th grade; in PE class, playing football I think. Somebody came out and told us to go to our home room and said the President had been shot. It was then probably announced over the PA system.

That was a Friday afternoon and Thanksgiving was the next week. I’m sure we had the whole week off rather than just the usual 2 days.

I remember watching a lot of TV that week. A lot of Walter Cronkite.

I don’t remember much about conspiracy theories until after the Warren report.

I think conspiracy theories, at least their prevalence, are a recent phenomenon. The 1960s had a whole lot of upheaval but I don’t remember any conjectures beyond what was reported in the news media.

Even though the news media was more trustworthy to people at that time, there were always the skeptics that some stories were fake or had a slant.

By the time the Vietnam War was raging on, that was when the misinformation machine grew larger.

In 1968, Walter Cronkite started to break out of his shell and start slanting the Vietnam War negatively. So goes the LBJ phrase “if I lost Cronkite, I lost Middle America.”

7th grade english class. it came over the intercom and the whole class cheered.

My dad was about that age when it happened, and he said the same thing. He said they really didn’t have any animosity towards JFK, they were just being a bunch of dumbass junior high kids who thought they were funny. The Holy Cross brother teaching the class was ready to whip all of their asses.

Yes I was six years old. We were glued to the TV as was the nation. The conspiracy theories came later.

Kennedy was well-liked by all. And there were some Kennedy and Bouvier relatives in my school. It was a sad day.

I don't recall any conspiracy rumors until Oswald was shot point blank in full view of dozens of police and reporters.

Not sure where you get that, 'Havoc'. The ladies sure as hell liked him. And there has been no president who has come close to his charisma, IMO.

And I would say he and Trump had a very similar political ideology.

Third grade in a parochial school. The nuns made everyone go into church to say a rosary. I remember some of the older girls crying during the rosary. I also remember watching the funeral procession on television. I was too young to remember anything about a conspiracy at the time. That came later with the New Orleans angle.

I was in Junior High School (Middle School now). 8th grader learning how to play soccer. Heard about it then and we never played soccer again in gym class. My mom say Jack Ruby shoot Oswald live on TV.

In the second grade. One of the student office workers came into the classroom crying to tell our teacher that president Kennedy had been shot. Teacher started to cry and needless to say, a room full of second grade kids had no clue what was going on.

I was in 10th grade and in study hall when someone came in and said Kennedy was shot and everyone cheered. A little later when it was announced he had died no one cheered then. We had an assembly and a couple of ministers from the community came and talked to us. After Oswald was shot the news was just saying that Ruby really liked the president and was despondent and since he knew a lot of cops he could get in the area when Oswald was being moved.

I was in the 2nd grade. I remember teachers screaming and one particular teacher running down the hall sobbing. I remember seeing Lee Harvey Oswald getting shot on TV and then JFK’s funeral. All were sad memories.

They're not.....the moment the Zapruder film went public the theories began.....and rightfully so bc Oswald didn't shoot JFK.

And Epstein didn't commit suicide.

And Trump won.

I was’nt hatched yet but I have studied the assassination and the theories. I’ve been to Dealy Plaza, the Grassy Knoll, and the Book Depository. One of my close friends developed the Zapruder film and he was the first to view it. I have and read over 25 books on the subject. My findings are that Oswald was a Flake. Sure , he could of shot Kennedy but he was not a reliable person.I believe he brought his rifle to the depository but a more reliable ,professional did the deed,Oswald was in the break room drinking a Coke when the assassaination took place. After he realized what happened he panicked and ran. Also the Mob does not talk about their activities, if you actually hear of them your life will probably be very short.
