George Strait says he does it in All my Exes Live in Texas.

I was schooled in it starting at 8 years old. Dad had this guru lady come live with us for a couple of weeks. Hmm. That sounds bad.
Anyway, you have to work at it. Then you can chill out. Lower your pulse rate and take a mental break. I think my original mantra needs to be updated but that stuff has gotten expensive, as best I remember.

You're gonna get a lot of dumb redneck responses here but it works for a lot of people, takes a lot of practice though.

Started meditating this year. Best 10 min daily investment. Use the headspace app. Helps with stress and keeps my ADD is check.

I meditate. Helps with my anxiety.
I don't do TM though.

I tried the float tanks at Levitate in Hammond a few times. It is an awesome experience.

I wanna start meditating, is 10 mins all you need to do on a daily basis?

Yep. But am & pm sessions are optimal.
There a lot of little rules/tips to follow at first. Then you just do it.

Maybe it didn't work for you but how is it a "scam"? Were you paying someone?

Unfortunately, yes, back then there was no internet to research things before you tried them.

Is there a time of day I'm not aware of?

Yes. Works well at 10 minutes. Check out the Calm app.
