Half of the assholes on the OT don’t hunt or fish. But I do.

Bought one as my god-son's baptism present. Was $250 for LA I believe. We just moved to TX from LA when my son was born. Wish I could have gotten one before leaving. We only really hunt an fish and LA and it would save tons on the out of state fees.

Got one for high school graduation. Of course at the time it wasn’t a big deal, but 20 years later I have realized how damn nice it is.
My buddy’s and I have started buying them for our buddy’s kids for a shower present. Best gift ever IMO.

Working on it now for my 4 year old. $200 in LA.

The freaking birth certificate is the biggest hoop to jump through. They want an original and will not send it back. So I have to order another copy to send them.

My grandparents bought mine for me when I was 13. I just have to buy a federal duck stamp each year.

I did the math, and it already paid for itself a few years ago.

It's your best shot at making sure your kid doesn't grow up to be like one of the "non hunters" on here

Obama made it legal for them to get married and they won't shut up about it

About to buy one for my new state of residency. Still have almost 30 years of license needs, figure it will do the same in a decade.

I think one was $150 and the other was $200.

As long as you and your sons were born in Louisiana, I believe you still can get a license for a resident price. My cousins from Houston were born in SWLA and never pay OOS fees, so they say. They just bring a birth certificate, I believe.
