HH has a tendency to make lemons, took a management position at Boot Barn for a couple months while waiting on my current job. HH has a tendency to not hold up. Had a few of the style you were looking at rip at the stitch around the boot.

If you want a good boot that's comfortable and will last, get an Ariat.

I have that pair of H&H you show. They are comfortable and durable; I bought mine a month before the Saints Superbowl and they still look good. I mainly wear them in town but did wear them hunting a couple times when I forgot my other boots.
If you like them, get them. You won't be disapointed.

What other brands are you comparing them to? My Ariats were super comfortable right off the shelf and these will definitely need to be broken in. I'm gonna go try another boot store tomorrow and see if I find something I like more. If not, i'm buying these. Thanks

Oh yea, I forgot you said you were wearing Ariat for 6 years prior.

May be a boot I'll have to check out.

They are the only cowboy boots I've owned as an adult, so I can't compare them to others.
For me they were comfortable from day one. Ymmv.

I've been wearing Georgia Boot Wellingtons for the last 20 years.

Comfortable and soft. I have a pair of Redwings that I hate because they stay stiff.

thanks, but I'm looking for something a little nice without going to exotics. My workboots are taken care of.

Yeah, the damn square toe boots just look silly. I bought my last pair of boots about 3-4 yr's ago. Was pretty surprised at how difficult it was to find a good looking mid priced pair of round toe boots. Love my round toe Justin's for working/playing and the round toe ariats for everything else that doesn't require shoes.

Most of the round toes I see are casual work boots. This is 1 of 2 pairs I see with round toe. Pretty good looking classic boot, but I want a little bit more.

My first pair lasted me 5 or 6 years and I just got a new pair about a month ago. They are the best casual/work boots that money can buy. I'm a happy customer that will continue to buy their products as long as the quality remains.

it's impossible to find decent looking round toe boots these days. I'm gonna just have to cave in and buy square toes

truer words havent been spoken. ive been trying to find a low profile steel round toe to no avail. all the round toes are like domes on the top of your feet. how can square toes have such a low profile but not round toe?
