I got a speeding ticket the other day heading to Lafayette to see some friends, got pulled over in Krotz Springs. The cop gave me a ticket for going 4 mph over. Needless to say, I find giving them 120 some dollars in pennies a good way to pay for the fine but also give them the bird at the same time.

In short, have any of you done something like this?

Edit: I see now that this would only inconvenience someone not involved in the situation. But I am curious if any of yall have done something like this.

I pay my annual TD subscription in pennies. Chicken doesn't seem to mind.

This. Seems like it would be a pain in the arse to get them and then haul them around. Plus you probably have to ruin some poor bank employee's day.

the person who gave you the ticket won't be counting the pennies.

And this. You're not sticking it to the person who screwed you, anyway.

You're just screwing over a random employee that had nothing to do with your ticket.

that's a good point, don't mean to be an a-hole to someone innocent to the situation.

Some guy bought my friend some cigars that he said were Cuban, pretty sure they were Peruvian though. Dude always had a unique way of asking out women too. Anyway, I paid for my friends cigars that this dude gave him with a sack full of pennies.

So the cop had to count the pennies? Or did you "punish" someone completely uninvolved in giving you a ticket?

The cop wont be counting the pennies so you're just inconveniencing a desk clerk who had nothing to do with your ticket.

You should be mad at yourself for exceeding the speed limit.
