I think we'll see Scotland leave the UK in the next 5 years because of Brexit. However, I think Shetland will remain in the UK. I think the Catholics in Northern Ireland will eventually outbreed the Protestants and we'll see Northern Ireland likely reunite with the Republic of Ireland. It wouldn't shock me to see the UK in 50 years only be England, Wales, Shetland and the Channel Islands.

In all honesty the US is in danger because of the false narrative that both sides of the political aisle are irreconcilable.
The truth is most Americans are not extreme in their political views. Most just want to work and provide for their families and not have the fruits of their labor stolen (by BOTH crony capitalism and lazy welfare recipients).
But the uniparty depends on a divided nation in order to stay in power.
