... how I know you live in the South, because in real places you see Subaru’s there is real reason to have one. Half the people I know drive Subies.

I had a 2007 Ford Edge and loved it. Really fun to drive and easy to park. I imagine the new model is even better.

Why wouldn't you be able to get away with driving a crossover?

There’s a stigma in the south about what guys “should” and “shouldn’t” drive, but at the end of the day you are still in the south so WGAF.

There’s only a stigma among the uneducated plant types

Who gives two shits about that. I have no use for a full size suv. Drive a truck right now but my next vehicle is definitely going to be a crossover type.

In all seriousness I like it. Have close to 70,000 miles with no issues at all.

Foresters are highly underrated.

Just drove my wife's Outback from Seattle to Missoula and back (daughter started a new job). Crossed three mountain passes each way during the biggest winter storms of the season and that thing never bogged down. Miles upon miles of packed snow and ice. Good snow tires helps, but I was impressed.

When our daughter was born we bought an Acadia SLT. Later traded it in on a buick enclave which was nicer but basically the same vehicle.
My wife is on her second encore and I drive it all of the time. Normally I drive a malibu.

For vacations we have a tahoe.

After driving the cross overs my junk is still intact.

Wow I’ve never met someone who didn’t live in the South. Can you tell us about some of the amazing people you’ve met and places you’ve seen?

Just bought the wife a Kia Telluride and so far we love it. Have been driving Toyotas and Lexuses for years but she loved this Telluride.

I rented a Toyota Rav for today because I am driving to upstate NC and didn't feel like taking the F150 for a site walk through. I like this little Rav Enterprise delivered. Supposed to get great gas mileage.

My father has a '17 Rogue, and my mother purchased a Santa Fe about six months ago. Both are really nice vehicles, and I went and looked at the new Nissan Kicks with the wife last month.

Both the Rogue and Santa Fe are great vehicles, and the Kicks looks really nice, as well... basically just a smaller, scaled down Rogue that is based more on a car body (slightly lower to the ground, a little less headroom, and less storage area in the back... almost like a large hatchback).

I don't think you could go wrong with either the Rogue or the Santa Fe, and you might want to look at the Kicks.

I have a 2012 Explorer and it has been rock solid. I love it. I test drove the 2020 and if I were to buy, I would get either the sport or the Platinum due to the engine. Lots of power. The 4 cylinder does the job and it can move the car quickly, but you can feel it work.

Also I am a safety feature and infotainment junkie.

Bought a used 16 Nissan Murano from the big online dealership in Texas in December of 2018. Drive it on a 45 minute commute into BR 5 times a week. Love it. 26mpg. Comfortable. Looks nice.

Drive what you want. Hook ‘em if they don’t like it.

I drive a ‘19 Cherokee Trailhawk. Really love it and it rides great. Looks better since they got rid of the squinty headlights too.
Any particular reason you wouldnt consider a jeep?

When I was in Vermont and New Hampshire, I swear to god every other vehicle on the road was a Subaru.
