Any golfers here ever played Miura irons?

Thinking about getting fitted and having a set custom built.
How were they?
Supposed to be outstanding from what I have read.

I have a set, you better be a player.

I don't have a set but two of the guys I play with do. They feel really good, like butter. Think Mizuno blades but maybe even smoother. When you pure one, it's like the ball isn't even there. When you don't....well....

How is the feel?

Feel is actually sound. While I do play forged, it's not because they are forged.

Reminds me of Henry Griffitts from back in the day

I've only ever hit the wedges. Great clubs. I prefer my clevelands though.
For irons, I need something more forgiving.

you aren't good enough to know the difference

These KZG's have caught my eye as well.
Anyone ever play these?

But I want to pretend I do.

Its what the pros play. Got to hit it pure.

How much is a custom set of those?

Great clubs, but enjoy the price.
Like KR said, you better be a player.

The KZG's are not in the same class as Miura's.

I have Miura 9 iron I found on the course.
Never turned it in. I hit it too well to give it back.

If you're good enough to play and afford the Miura's I would recommend trying the AP 2's. Still a forged blade but when you miss it doesn't kill you. There is a reason a ton of pros are switching to a more forgiving blade.
Play inside of your own game, just because Adam and Rory can hit butter knives doesn't mean you can consistently. but at the end of the day it's whatever feels best in your hand so test out your options before pulling the trigger.
