When I raced motocross, the port-a-potties were always nasty beyond belief. So I had a pre-race routine: 2 Immodium the night before the race and 1 the morning of. Wouldn't shite for 3 days. 20-30 Immodium at a time in repeated doses is going to block you up a fuq-ton more than opiates will.

Yeah, I've read about this before. In fact there was a thread just yesterday (or the day before) about this very thing. Thanks for getting the info, but I will just have to grind it out before I take that many Immodium. I know it sounds crazy, but even though I take large amounts of dangerous opiates, I still try and practice as much harm reduction as possible and am very picky about what I take. And that much Immodium is very unhealthy. I know that sounds crazy coming from me, but I'm just weird that way. I can go thru a G of H in 2 days or take 20 Roxis a day, but I won't take that much Immodium.
Probably has to do with a bad experience I had while taking Immodium during DTs a few years back.

I asked him about that high a dose of immodium and he said:

about to make 3 years in July.... and i didn't chase the dragon, but the "high" stops after using for a while... you end up having to continue using to avoid getting sick or just to even feel "normal"...

Oh it's not the constipation that really bothers me. Although I did puke and dry heave for a cpl days one time after taking some Immodium during WD. After that I just can't stomach the thought of them. Also I hate the way they cause my lips to chap. So they are not a cure all. But there have been deaths due to cardiac arrest I believe caused from high Immodium intake.
I just prefer to shite the poison out of my body and taken phenergen and clonidine and alleve with a hearing pad for my back than to take the Immodium and puke/dry heave.
But if it works for him all the better. I've read alot of stuff where people swear by it.
Hell I can go a week without taking a shite when using opiates, and had to drink castor oil on a cpl occasions because I started getting worried, so constipation from the Immodium isn't the reason I wouldn't take that many.
