Contrary to all these reply's, my mother got one about 7 years ago and it's held up really well. It's driven to Chicago back and forth 6 times as well. Only real issue is the break peddle makes a low pitch squeaky noise. Sounds like it needs WD-40. Easy fix tho.

What is your fixation on GM products for midsize SUV’s? They are GARBAGE.

If you were in the market for a full size Tahoe, Suburban or 1/2 ton or larger pickup, GM does make decent ones that are worthy of consideration.

For the market/size/niche you described, expand your horizons.

My wife has a 2014 Traverse and we love it. Not one bit of trouble, and it has a quiet comfortable ride.

My wife drives an Acadia Denali. Loves it. We've had no issues with it in the two years we have had it.

I have had both an Acadia and enclave. Had problems with both. If you buy one, get the walk through middle seat. Don't buy the bench seat. I've had both. My parents have owned a traverse for quite a few years and have had no problems.

Just to warn you, you'll have clicking and rattling sounds on the dash and cockpit area. And it gets annoying

Having worked for GM 30+ years, I have seen some good and bad vehicles. I personally would not have owned an Acadia prior to 2010. They have steadily improved since then, and the new body style is a good dependable suv. The Enclave is nice, and even has a upgrade similar to a Denali pkg.

No offense but almost every vehicle sold today can do this. This vehicle has lots of well documented problems with timing chains and transmissions. It is not reliable long term.

Read up on it online. From what I recall transmissions used to be problematic.

We had a Chevy Traverse and I just traded that fricking thing in. It was nothing but problems. Evaporator coil leak, stability track issues, multiple alternators, power window window issues, replace motor on passenger seat, two purge valves. I’m not sure if we got a lemon or if they are just pieces of shite. The stability track issue is very common and they have no clue how to fix it. You’ll be driving down the highway going 70 and the shite comes on and shuts off power to the engine. Not sure how anyone hasn’t been killed yet.

I don’t know why anyone would buy an $50,000 front drive crossover when there’s a Yukon in the same showroom.

You may want to have her branch out a bit. These are all the same vehicle.

Oh, and all are pretty “meh” on most levels.

Oh, I certainly could, but it would just piss me off.

Like the other poster said: I've had this car for 6 years now, and I've had more problems with it in 6 years than our last four cars combined.

Some quickies: AC, electrical, and CONSTANT WARNING alerts that NO ONE can fix, not even the pieces of shite my wife bought it from (while I was on a work trip).

This car has caused many fights in chez EZE Tiger Fan.

We had a Terrain. Had more than normal “issues” for sure.
