I'm essential at my work, but nearly everyone else is working from home. Hardly anyone here, probably the safest place on the planet.

Yup. 20% bump on all wages (regular and OT) for the foreseeable future. OTOH, we have the option of staying home for up to 4 weeks at non-hazard pay. Tough call, but I’m healthy, so I’ll keep getting you frickers’ internet connected to PornHub.

Not hazard pay, but the first couple of weeks of this I worked 25 hours OT, so I had good bump in the paycheck. This will continue as long as restrictions are in place.

As a physician? No. All other non-physician direct care providers may be, but not doctors. We'll see. We just get to do a shite ton more non-reimbursed work while we maintain our staffs pay and benefits. At least those of us in private practice. Not sure about ER doc's or hospitalists.
In fact, I'll probably be paying to go to work. Doesn't look like my two partners are going to have the money to make the next payroll. Bad time to hit offices. Revenue down at first of year as deductibles reset and medicare holding payments first two weeks of every year. March is usually when we start seeing an uptick. I know many are banking on getting assistance. I'm going to assume we won't or it won't be nearly enough to cover loss of revenue and increased costs for protective supplies.

Not to be a hater but kind of a dick move to brag about extra pay.
Lots of people aren't getting paid.
I am and feel fortunate to have job.

Nope, just overtime. How many of y'all work for a Fortune 500 company? I do and why would they pay us extra with stockholders to answer to?

No extra pay, but glad to have a job to go to that I love. I mean hazard pay would be nice, but I don’t have lungs big enough to hold that breathe haha.

I work for a Fortune 500 company and to answer your question they pay us extra to incentivize is to go to work. According to our HR dept we don’t have to go if we don’t feel comfortable.
