Need recommendation on neighborhoods similar to St. George, Bluebonnet or even Goodwood

Lakeview, Bonnebel, & Bucktown are all pretty similar to Goodwood, but with smaller lots.
The closest thing to St. George would be Villa Terre in LaPlace or living in Covington.

Every new orleans resident on the OT will tell you that it is impossible to get mugged or car jacked in their safe neighborhood so listen up.

This or English Turn have the most BR-ish feel. Of course a critical component of really getting that Baton Rouge atmosphere is sitting in traffic constantly for no apparent reason, so you'll want North Kenner.

There is a difference between kennah brah and North Kenner. There are two state of the art schools, one public, one catholic, going up in North Kenner. The neighborhoods are decidedly different, with three gated communities, one community on the golf course, and million dollar homes along the levee. If what he is looking for is a BR feel, then North Kenner is probably his best bet.
