Hopefully a lot of people at Tides, Wren Collective, Open Societies, Ford, Pritzker, etc. are having some meetings today

Ok, thanks for details.
Clarifying question.
If they pass the “not foreign” test, but are financially supported by foreign aid, therefore acting on their behalf, does that make a difference? Or do they have to first declare the foreign aid source as a terror organization!and link them?
Seems like a pretty easy way to work around this if you’re an otherwise peaceful foreign stakeholder and send financial support for disruptions to US. Especially if the foreign stakeholder can make a case somewhere as a “political supporter” of one side of the aisle then you could see lawsuits against the government for political interference

I hate to make jokes about OP because he actually could be handicapped so it’s better to be nice and nod/wave to him. Maybe I shouldn’t have told him wrong forum. It’s apparent online forums are his only outlet so no reason to make him feel more uncomfortable than he already does.

I'm not a big fan of labeling groups "terrorist" like the ADL does.
I'd rather regular dudes just beat their arse when they engage in their commie bullshite.

What the admin is trying to imply here is that they designated Antifa an FTO, or Foreign Terrorist Organization.. They can't actually declare Antifa as one because Foreign Terrorist Organizations must be, well, foreign. When you think of all those crazy post-9/11 constitution-fricking anti-terror statutes, you're thinking of FTOs. There is no comparable domestic statute.
DTO incoming.

Kind of confused by this as well…. Isn’t Antifa an idea and movement but not an actual organization? Are their Antifa leadership or chapters? Could be wrong here but generally curious.

Yeah an idea.. an imaginary force, caught fire to Portland and Seattle during the Floyd riots
It never really happened

Do ideas wear matching black uniforms,
Do ideas have printed materials, patches, flags?
Do ideas have chapters that coordinate with neighboring chapters to conduct operations?
As I said earlier, the notion that Antifa is some sort of disorganized, grassroots “idea” is laughable. Antifa is a very organized and well funded radical Marxist paramilitary group that regularly conducts acts of political violence, vandalism, and intimidation.

You’re wrong. They are foreign and global. Most of their funding comes from foreigners

Antifa traces it roots to the German communist party in the early 1930s Weimar Republic. At that time street violence between various left and right political parties was common. The two largest parties were the Communist on the left and Nazis on the right. To fight their street battles the Nazis had the SA. Likewise, to fight their street battles the Communists had Antifa.
From its founding 90 years ago, Antifa has been a paramilitary organization of Communists.
