I’ve changed my position on hitting females after watching that video. I’ll gladly get arrested for delivering multiple haymakers to her suck hole.

Biden is simply a placeholder. Will probably be the last white dude ever nominated by Democrats.

Kamala will take his place if he wins.

This is very likely to happen, which should seriously concern American's.

What blows my mind even more is the Dems wasted so much of the last 4 years trying their damndest to impeach Trump that they forgot to groom a decent Candidate to go against him.

It’s like the impeachment failed so they just said F It, throw out Joe against OMB. That’s all we got.

It's been said, "they panicked" and picked Joe.

They panicked over Bernie potentially winning the nomination, and coalesced around Joe.

I don't think it was a nefarious reaction, that moment just happened to coincide with the Southern swing in primaries where Joe is really popular.

Congrats, sheep. A half-assed bill fooled you. Both parties put up bullshite bills that the other side shut down. You only saw when your team did it.

According to the NPR article...The Republican Police Reform Bill included:

quote:

The legislation will increase federal reporting requirements for use of force, no-knock warrants. It also increases penalties for false police reports. It seeks to encourage chokehold bans through this added transparency and by withholding funding for units without bans on chokeholds except when deadly force is authorized. The effort also looks to up use of police body cameras with grant programs, and in turn penalties for failing to use the cameras. It creates a database of police disciplinary records for law enforcement departments to use in their hiring practices. It makes lynching a federal crime, which is linked to an effort that passed in the House but has recently stalled in the Senate. It directs the Justice Department to develop and provide training on de-escalation tactics and implement duty-to-intervene policies.

That doesn’t seem very half assed to me. Federal financial incentives for state and local police agencies to do away with choke holds and no knock warrants...why would the Democrats not want this passed if not to use the “division” on these issues for political leverage in the upcoming election?

That's the House passed bill that Senate Republicans either rejected, or is sitting on Mitch McConnell's desk waiting for action(I forget. Rand Paul filed the Justice For Breonna Taylor bill. I don't think that bill ever made it out of committee though, but I don't know why.

Oops, I'm wrong. Senate Republicans did advance a police reform bill, but it never made it to a floor vote. It's still different that the one Paul drafted.

So, you didn’t answer the question. Why don’t Democrats support this legislation?

Probably the same reason Republicans didn’t support the House passed one - politics.

Republicans didn’t support the House bill because the Democrats want to do away with qualified immunity allowing every criminal that doesn’t like being arrested to personally sue police officers.

I can point to the issue in that legislation that was a deal breaker for Republicans. What did Democrats oppose in the Republican legislation? Nothing, other than it addressed their supposed grievances before an election year.

If there is another “tragedy” with no knock warrants and choke holds, that’s on the Democrats who are willing to sacrifice black lives for more power.

That is your shite bag party. May god be with you.

Thus, the people who said that the GOP were "the party of old, white men" could do no better than an OLDER white man...who doesn't know where he is much of the time.

Not ending qualified immunity, and no banning of chokeholds. They also wanted more input on the bill before debate, and blocked a procedural vote.

Seems both sides played politics with it to me. I do think the Senate should have just passed the bill then gone into reconciliation with the House bill to hammer out differences, but nobody asked me.

So, his own mob won’t listen or follow him? Why should I even consider voting for him when he clearly can’t get his peeps to calm down.
