Yes

They absolutely were supporting it, the anarchy included. They just conveniently have shifted their narrative once it started "showing up in the polling."

Acting like an opposing opinion is a troll doesn't strengthen your position.

Please explain. I’d genuinely like you thoughts on this. What do you think the President did right and wrong? Specifically, what would you have liked him to do that wasn’t done?

Have people needed care and were refused because of some government red tape or because a lack of beds and ventilators?

Democrats criticize his response, but you never hear what they would do differently.

Which party has hitched their wagon to the BLM movement?

I don’t think the Democrats are doing anything to get that vote.

The 2018 midterm results would disagree with you.

I don't think that necessarily has much bearing on the election this year, but the Democratic party has made massive inroads in the suburbs since 2016. And despite the impression that is has shifted massively left, a lot of those candidates that won in 2018 were fairly moderate Dems. The part has shifted left on some issues, healthcare being the biggest, but there is still a fairly solid moderate presence in the House and Senate from the party.

The irony of screaming say her name and attacking the senator who created a bill with her name in it to reduce police power is hilarious.

Unfortunately, your party has called the other party racist for decades, effectively comparing them to their worst members. Well now the right is doing the same thing, and zomg it's not fair anymore.

As someone who isn't a Dem or a Repub it's hilarious when the Dems try to deflect when their own tactics are used against them.

No it isn't, you fricking idiot. Emotionally driven politics is how you end up with knee-jerk reactions, and unintended consequences.

Good governance is rational, logical, and sparse.

Republicans have tried to pass police reform legislation that Democrats have blocked because they need this to be an issue for the upcoming election. If black lives really mattered, they’d pass reform legislation.

Congrats, sheep. A half-assed bill fooled you.

Both parties put up bullshite bills that the other side shut down. You only saw when your team did it.

I think the things he did right are just the basic things any president with any competence woudl have done -facilitating more ventilators, providing military personnel/equipment to New York at the height of their problems, etc.

The list of things he's done wrong is lengthy, but the biggest is just his messaging on it. From the start, he downplayed the threat. He's undermined his own medical experts. He's pitted states against each other in obtaining supplies they have needed. He drug his feet getting the resources agencies needed to set up a national testing, tracing, and isolating program. He's given mixed messages a lot of times - advocating for shutdowns one week, cheering on governors and protesters that ignore those shutdowns the next.

The lion's share of BLM donations are done through ActBlue, an organization whose existence is tied to fundraising for and electing Democrat politicians. Imagine being able to donate money to the Proud Boys on a site dedicated to electing Republicans, because that's exactly what this is.

Our resident Liberals are so desperate to justify this behavior. Instead of stepping back and re-evaluating their own beliefs they’ll fantasize that conservatives act the same way.

But swing voters see how these people act. "If you don't agree with us, we'll spit on you threaten you and flip you off." So yes, normal people are turned off by these pieces of shite and will vote for Trump

Didn't read this whole thread but this would probably be me.

I recognize Trump is an idiot but I want him to win now. The ridiculousness of the "left" is too much. Both sides have extremist morons but I want to see the melt.
