Hollywood South still a thing?

We've had film crew workers rent our AirBnB south of Bogalusa in the last 6 months. It must be a thing.

No, it still happens but before we decided it was a bad idea to incentivize these productions here in the state, there were more film productions in Louisiana than in Cali

He'll be robbed thrice before he can say "gentrification."

I have liked Anthony Mackie in Marvel stuff, and I also like he appears to like his hometown and state. I hope he succeeds, but I just hope success is not based on taxpayers funding more credits or on any race based tax or Govt spending incentives not available to all.

I know his dad is a contractor and Anthony has funded homes for people in New Orleans.

With that said, 20 acres of land to build a film studio doesn't sound like a bad investment. It might even help bring up the value of the area.

This could provide more jobs and places to rob, so this is good economic development for the East.

Isn't he the guy that Mascona claims he was about to get into a fight with over a phone?

Industrial area with dirt cheap land.
Labor would also be less minus skilled movie studio workers.

Yes. Louisiana is about 15 deep crew wise. Most shows are about 90% LA crew, but right now that percentage is way down.

Crew is short everywhere though. I am doing production services for three shows in Atlanta and one in Kentucky that are all pushing because I can't nail down enough crew. I have pushed for talent issues 100 times, but this year is the first time I have pushed because I can't get a Best Boy.

In Jasper Texas, yes. In New Orleans, not so much.
