Does lemon or lime really matter after the Italian dressing and mustard?
It's like complaining about the pepper on a steak being black or white when it's got ketchup on it

My parents have been boiling crawfish for 50 plus years. Never have I seen Italian dressing, mustard, lemon juice or liquid butter touch the pot or ice chest. I was dumbfounded and it was obvious.

These cats put mustard, lime juice, AND Italian dressing AFTER cooking the crawfish.
I mean that sounds disgusting before or after cooking it

Agree. That looks disgusting. So is dusting, only folks who don’t know how to boil crawfish dust. Or know what good crawfish is that ear it that way. And while I’m at it, so are those “boil” restaurants.

I can't stand it when people put seasoning on the outside of boil crawfish. If you can't get all your seasonings in the water and make it spicy then you don't know how to boil
Someone should tell people in Lafayette this.

Is mostly the same thing in Shreveport too. Even at the mud bug madness festival. The dust them up so much, it's all on the shell people. I think the Asians started all that dusting shite

Everyone I know uses French salad dressing instead of Italian.

This crawfish boiling outside of southern Louisiana is getting out of hand. Boiling should be illegal outside of longitude of the Sabine River and the Pascagoula River and north of the latitude of Alexandria, LA and in Lafayette where they boil in plain water and put the seasoning on in an ice ches

And they still haven’t figured out how to do it right

Mailman, is anyone down there serving your oysters fried? I'll be down to snapper fish in a few weeks and would love to have a po-boy. TIA
