Love the gdi's that hop in these threads and cry about fraternities Just because you didn't get a bid or your college experience sucked doesn't mean all fraternities are evil lol

The only reason this even made the news is because it involved a fraternity and the SJW media has a hard-on for dismantling the greek system.

(minus the black fraternities and sororities of course. Those are the good ones)

I'm pretty shocked I didn't haze myself in college. The amount of vodka I could drink was pretty disturbing.

A guy on my floor in Kirby chugged some takka and ended up having his stomach pumped. Just a bored gdi in his dorm room.

And let's not forget the countless college kids, frat or not, that have od on opiates. This issue isn't strictly a delta chi issue.

Well, it is Ole Miss so that makes it harder to guess. BTW, I went to Ole Miss my freshman year and pledged so I can make those jokes.

If the effing frat douches could just learn to haze without the heavy use of alcohol, then this shite wouldn't happen and hazing wouldn't be considered so bad. ZERO creativity and imagination.

True but most losers have like 2-3 friends. When you had dozens and hung out in different groups and all the bartenders knew us and we were regularly invited to all kinds of parties including we ourselves threw the largest party of the year during super bulldog weekend at my friends house where we had 700 lbs of crawfish cooked, beer iced in kiddie pools, live music and over 500 people attended I would say we weren’t losers. Hell that party was so big the cops set up a road block for people leaving it

sweet generalization, the frat I was in at LSU was pretty big and had quite a few badasses in it, although the statute of limitations has expired I'd be afraid to post some of the shite that went down back in the day due to potential retaliation by my own bros the thing is about frats, or at least our frat, is that's the point where you start to figure out to navigate life with brains, not brawn

If you had that many "friends", I guarantee a couple of them were losers.

It’s an antiquated, stupid system.

Then don't do it?

I don't get it. If you don't want to do it, don't do it. No need to tear it down for others who might like to get involved with it.

This is a situation of an off-campus house and no official hazing for fraternity rituals. The dude died from drinking too much and choking on his own vomit likely, it happens in colleges more often than people realize, it just grabs headlines when the guy is in a fraternity.

I remember having to chug Evan Williams green label and then immediately puking the whole thing back up 30 seconds later in the trash can....one of those things I'll never forget. Never enjoyed Bourban again after that.

For a bunch of guys who carry on about how manly and independent they are are and how "gay" it is to care what other people thing, they sure do care about dudes who decide to join fraternities.

I can honestly say, being in the biggest frat at LSU in the hay day of Greek life, that I never saw or heard of anyone being forced to consume alcohol, wouldn't have had to really, most everyone I saw were very willing participants, no hazing in out frat either

Same here. I was in the mid 90s and we just had to do stuff like wash cars and clean apartments.
